About Us

God painted a vision for our family to help give other families the chance to opt-in to Christian education, where they can learn and grow in Christ.

Back in 2015, our family was introduced to a little school on the hill, a mission school, that guided our family to God and placed this on our hearts. Through the chaos of 2020, we were so thankful for our community that showed us love, faith and growth in the Lord. Helping our children memorize verses from the Bible and see their faith exponentially grow, had us wondering how we could help other families have this opportunity.

Our evening conversations on the porch went a little like this. What can we do to help? Let’s donate to the school to help more families attend. What if they want to attend a different school? We don’t want them to be limited to one school or one location. How do we do this? Let’s research starting a new 501(c)3 that helps children, by financially supporting their pursuit of a Christian education and get to work.

This was how we arrived at WAYMAKER FUND, a 501(c)3 non-profit.

If you don’t know Rich and I personally, we hope that you will follow along and learn more about us, our family and the heart behind this project. We are a team by every meaning of the word, who believe that we are better together; whether it is with our CPA practice, serving the Lord or raising kids. We know that 2020 was a huge alignment period for our family, where our focus on God, our family and each other were highlighted. We have restructured our future based on this experience. We consider ourselves blessed by the “pause” that 2020 created, to align our family in God and one another. By day, we are two CPAs who work to live, not live to work and in our free moments, you will find us drinking coffee, spending time at the lake fishing or doing projects around the house. Stacie has worked with multiple non-profits over the past 10 years and currently is the Vice President of Finance at a local, non-profit, trade-school and sits on the board at Heritage Christian Academy in Bothell, WA. Enough about us, let’s talk about Waymaker Fund.

Our vision is getting clearer by the day. We want to help families grow and learn in Christ, through Christian education. We will do this by partnering with local Christian schools to help families fund their children’s Christian education. We pray that the Lord provides and we are able to help many students start their Christian education.

We will be looking for help as we grow this organization, so please reach out if you would like to serve with us.  We plan to grow our board and our footprint in the community, by sharing our mission, we hope to inspire others to make a difference by serving the Lord.

With love,
Rich & Stacie Meyer
